Vito Tridente, 91

FELTON - Vito Tridente, formerly of Marcus Hook, Claymont area, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at the Milford Center, Milford, Delaware. Mr. Tridente was the son of the late Domenic and Olga (Bende) Tridente. He worked as a marine engineer for Atlantic Richfield and Arco in Philadelphia, Pa. prior to retiring. He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Harrington. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Colleen Warren and Darren Tridente; and one great grandchild, Jeff Carmean. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Josephine Campagnini Tridente; two sons, Vito and Michael Tridente of Newark; and 2 daughters, Olga McCartney of Felton and Josephine Brogan and her husband Michael of L'anse, Michigan; 13 Grandchildren and eight Great Grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held to celebrate Mr. Tridente's life at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 109 Dixon Street, Harrington, on Saturday May 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery Harrington, DE. Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Felton, DE.
