MILFORD - Valentina Wilgus passed away at Delaware Hospice Center, on Thursday, January 7, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Adolphe and Bernadette Denardo.
Valentina, or Val as she was called by her many friends, worked in medical billing. She was a member of the Harrington Lions Club and the Milford Elks Lodge.
Val always had a smile on her face, was known for her sense of humor, but wasn't afraid to tell you how it was. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, cooking, gardening, and bowling. Val enjoyed traveling, especially going on cruises. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents; Val was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Wilgus; and four brothers.
Val is survived by the love of her life, Ray E. Wright.
A memorial service will be held privately by the family.
Arrangements are by the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home Inc, Harrington. Visit us at www.melvinfuneralhome.com to sign the condolence book.
