Hodskins, 86 SMYRNA - Truman Layson Hodskins, aka, "Bud" passed away peacefully at his home in the presence of his family on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012. Mr. Hodskins was born Feb. 27, 1926 in Whiteville, Ky. the son of the late Robert and Ola Hodskins. Bud proudly retired from the US Navy as Aircraft Hydraulic Mechanic with honors. He served his country during WWII, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Alice; two daughters, Barbara Below of Trenton, Mich. and Sharon Cousins (Dale) of Fitchburg, Mass; a son, David Allen (Catharine) of Lima, N.Y.; nine grandchildren. At the request of his family, services will be private and Bud will be buried in a military service out to sea. The family gives thanks to Delaware Hospice for their support.
