INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Trudy K. Barwick, of Indianapolis, formerly of Smyrna, Del., passed away in Community North Heart Hospital, Indianapolis, on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008. She was 36.
Trudy was born Oct. 5, 1971, in Dover, Del., to George and Patsy (Gray) Barwick of Smyrna.
She worked as a secretary for the Delaware Correctional Center, Smyrna, and for Coventry Insurance Co., Newark, Del., before retiring due to disability.
Trudy enjoyed shopping, watching videos, being with her family, her nieces and nephews and her dog, Nikki.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sisters, Tammy Spicer, Tracy Flemming and Melissa Barwick, all of Smyrna; her brother, Joshua Barwick of Smyrna; her fiancé, Richard Streder of Indianapolis; and nine nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, 2928 Sharon Hill Road, Dover.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 100 W. 10th St., Suite 1002, Wilmington, DE 19801.
Arrangements are by Faries Funeral Directors and Crematorium, Smyrna.
