Trennick (Marvil) Elliott, 68

LEWES - Trennick (Marvil) Elliott of Lewes died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 68.

Mrs. Elliott was born June 27, 1938, in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Dr. James E. and Comfort (Ingram) Marvil.

She was a 1960 graduate of Hollins College, Roanoke, Va.

Mrs. Elliott was a past president of the Lewes Chamber of Commerce and was a director of the Lewes Historical Society at the time of her death. She was also an active volunteer member of the Overfalls Maritime Museum Foundation.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, George M. Elliott; a daughter and a son-in-law, Kristin Marvil and Michael Elliott of Sanger, Texas; two granddaughters, Bethany Brooke Elliott and Erin Elizabeth Elliott both of Sanger; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Second and Market streets, Lewes.

Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery near Angola. The Rev. Jeffrey Ross will officiate.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Lewes Historical Society, 110 Shipcarpenter St., Lewes, DE 19958; or to the Overfalls Maritime Museum Foundation, P.O. Box 413, Lewes, DE 19958.
