WARWICK, Md. - Thomas Uleau, of Warwick, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007. He was 63.
He was a resident of Chadds Ford, Pa., for 23 years and moved to Maryland 10 years ago.
Mr. Uleau was a 1962 graduate of Penncrest High School, Media, Pa.
He was a 1969 graduate of Penn Morton College (now Widener University) with a bachelor's in accounting.
He was President of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, a member of "Who's Who of American Colleges and Universities," a winner of the Red Hat Award, and a member of the Media Old Timers Hall of Fame.
He was a licensed C.P.A. in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Uleau was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ann Winterbottom and Francis Xavier Uleau; and Patrick J. Uleau in September 2007; and was the youngest of five brothers, only survived by Michael Francis Uleau of Glen Riddle, Pa.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diane L. (Taylor) Uleau; children, Mary Uleau, Michael Uleau and Thomas Uleau of West Chester, Pa.; a daughter-in-law, Crystal Uleau; and grandchildren Olivia and Jack.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Dennis Catholic Church, 153 N. Main St., Galena, where a viewing will be held for family and friends at the church from 9-10:45 a.m.
Burial will be at St. Francis Xavier (Old Bohemia) Cemetery, Warwick.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Department of Otolaryngology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Development Office, One Charles Center, 100 N. Charles St., Suite 325, Baltimore, MD 21201.
