Thomas N. "Hicks" Hicks, 71
WILMINGTON - Thomas N. "Hicks" Hicks of Wilmington, formerly of Slaughter Neck, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 11, 2006, in his home. He was 71.
Mr. Hicks was born Feb. 7, 1935, in Slaughter Neck, son of the late Edith Wright-Hicks and Thomas Hicks.
He served his country in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Hicks was an enthusiastic, committed and active member of the Kingswood Community Center.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Davis.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah and Ronald Bordley of Felton, and Tomica Collins of Wilmington; a brother-in-law, Gilbert Davis; two nephews and their wives, Kenneth and Gloria Davis, and Ronald and Denise Davis; three grandchildren, Dorronda Bordley, Aaron Bordley and Kationna Delgado; and a host of cousins, other family and friends.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Congo Funeral Home, 201 N. Gray Ave., Wilmington, where friends may call one hour earlier.
