HARRINGTON - Thelma R. Raughley of Harrington died Thursday, Nov. 23, 2006, in her home. She was 83.
Mrs. Raughley was born Oct. 27, 1923, in Baltimore, daughter of the late Richard and Katherine (Heiger) Rutsche.
She graduated as a registered nurse from the Milford Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.
She worked as a nurse at DuPont's Nylon Plant in Seaford for 40 years, before retiring in 1985.
Mrs. Raughley was an active member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Harrington.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gus Raughley; a niece, Janet Whitney of Milford; a cousin, Ida Welch of Harrington; and many neighbors and church family.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 190 Raughley Hill Road, Harrington, where friends may call one hour. The Rev. John J. Desaulniers will officiate.
Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Milford.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church for the Camp Arrowhead Scholarship Fund, 190 Raughley Hill Road, Harrington, DE 19952.
