DOVER - Terrence Sylvester King entered into eternal rest on Monday, Dec. 17, 2007, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 49.

He was born Nov. 18, 1958, son of the late George Edward King Sr. and Gladys Eleanor (Roberts) King.

Mr. King attended Kent County High School, Worton, Md.

He worked at Wesley College, Dover, for 20 years, until his health failed.

Mr. King was preceded in death by an aunt, Gladys Bivens.

He leaves to mourn his memory his wife, Mary King; a son, Terrance (Tuffy) King Jr.; five stepchildren, Victor Brown of Smyrna, Thomas Brown of Goldsboro, Md., Crystal Malloy (Leslie), Tonjia Wright (Maurice) of Smyrna and Anzara Brown and his fiance Monica of Camden; six brothers, James King (Joy) of Middletown, George Edward King III of Dover, Gilbert King of Greenville, N.C., Lindsay King (Cheryl) of New Bern, N.C., Maurice King (Patricia) of Chestertown, Md., Robert King (Patricia) of Chestertown and Robert King (Patricia) of Marion, Md.; three sisters, Valerie King of Chestertown, Anna King of Dover and Linda King (Ralf) of Chance, Md.; two aunts, Elizabeth Roberts of Grasonville, Md., and Marjorie Smith of Philadelphia; two uncles, Norman King of Santee, S.C., and Garfield King of North Carolina; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers-in-law, Charles Taylor, Eugene Barrett, William Smith and Howard Ashley; one sister-in-law, Betty Ann Kennard (Arthur); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover, where the funeral will follow.

Interment will be at Barratt's Chapel Church Cemetery, Frederica.
