Teleforo Maldonado-Perez, 89

TRENTON, N.J. - Teleforo Maldonado-Perez of Trenton passed to the celestial mansion on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, in St. Francis Hospital, Trenton. He was 89.

Mr. Maldonado-Perez was born Jan. 5, 1918, in Naguabo, Puerto Rico.

His father was Eladio Maldanado.

Mr. Maldonado-Perez was a pastor for 30 years and loved to sing, pray and play the guitar.

He is survived by his special and loved friend, Carmen Canaya; his children and their spouses, Efrain and Iris Maldonado, Javier Maldonado of Trenton, Hiriam and Maria Valentin, Santiago Maldonado, Darry Madonado of Dover, Del., Hector and Reuben Maldonado of Puerto Rico, Carmen Marcano and Adrian of Philadelphia; his only brother, Juan Maldonado of Puerto Rico; and sisters, Elizabeth, Aurelia, Carmen, Joselia, all of Puerto Rico; grandchildren, nephews, nieces, family, and family.

He will always be remembered.

Funeral services will be noon Saturday in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division St., Dover, where friends may call one hour prior and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
