Tabitha Sophia 'Tab-Tab' Hall, 25

DAGSBORO - Tabitha Sophia "Tab-Tab" Hall, of Dagsboro, departed this life on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. She was 25.

She was born April 7, 1982, in Milford Memorial Hospital to Chiquita Hall.

Tabitha received her education at the Howard T. Ennis School, Georgetown, graduating in June 2003.

Following her graduation she continued her education at the Easter Seals Program of Sussex County.

Tabitha attended The Bible Church of Christ in Dagsboro, under the pastoral leadership of Elder Edward Cannon and Bishop Roy Bryant Sr.

One of her favorite hymns was "Jesus Loves Me This I Know."

Tabitha was a "miracle child" weighing one pound at birth, defying the laws of science and man.

She surpassed the age of 5 when the doctors had said that she would not make it, but God being the awesome God that He is, blessed her to reach the age of 25. To God Be the Glory.

Tab-Tab, as she was affectionately called, loved to eat, look pretty, especially wearing her lipstick of any shade, going for automobile rides, clapping her hands, and having someone to sing to her.

She loved beyond measure spending time with her nephew, Jeremiah and her brother, Jordan.

The family of Tabitha Sophia Hall praises God for the 25 years of her life that He gave her to us to love, cherish, and to care for her.

She was so special to us and we feel so blessed to have had her in our lives. Today, we do know and believe that yes, Jesus did and still does love her.

Tabitha leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Chiquita Hall of Dover; one sister, Chermika Wescott; one brother, Jordan Hall, both of Dagsboro; a devoted grandmother, Lillian Mitchell of Dagsboro, with whom she resided; a grandfather, Joseph Rogers and Ms. Sarah; a great-grandmother, Edith Rogers of Frankford; one nephew, Jeremiah Wescott; one niece, Jermika Wescott, both of Dagsboro; one uncle, Alfred and his wife Anita Mitchell of Laurel; five great-uncles, Burless and his wife Wanda Hall, Marvin and his wife Jenny Hall, Ronald and his wife Sandra Hall, William and his wife Lavonne Rogers, Ross and his wife Gloria Rogers; six great-aunts, Margaret Conquest, Evelyn and her husband Ronald Waples, Helena Harmon, Alfreda and her husband Michael Johnson, Heather Waples and Marine Willis Dixon; three god-sisters, Lorrian Tindley, Carolyn and her husband Bradley Jones and Charlotte Cannon; two god-brothers, Darius and James Finney Jr.; her godfather, Elder Edward and his wife Jocelyn Cannon; her godmother, Peggy Manuel; as well as a host of other relatives, friends and her Bible Church of Christ Church family.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Bible Church of Christ, Diamond Acres, in Dagsboro, where friends may call two hours prior.

The Elder Edward Cannon will deliver the eulogy.

Floral deliveries will be accepted from 9-11 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be the Golden Acres Cemetery, Selbyville.

Arrangements by Deborah E. Harris-Nock Funeral Services, Greenwood.
