Susanne Stone

MILFORD - Susanne Stone, of Hope House, Milford, died Oct. 9, 2011, at Kent General Hospital. She was 68. Ms. Stone was born Feb. 10, 1943, in Wilmington, to the late George A. Clark and Mary E. Cox Clark. She was a homemaker and was a loving mother in her own way. Ms. Stone loved life, was a strong fun loving person with a positive outlook on life and always had a story to tell. Ms. Stone is survived by her children, Karen Jenkinson of Bakersfield, Calif., Kelly Jenkinson of California, Md., Michael Jenkinson of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; siblings, George R. Clark and his wife Peggy of Dover, Sara Hudson of Wilmington, Mary L. Pace and her husband Terry of Townsend, Dana Clark and his wife Mary of Wilmington, and Michael Clark and his wife Patti of Bear; and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hope House, Fellowship Health, 7549 Wilkins Road, Milford, DE 19947. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
