Susan Theresa McKinney

McKinney, 52 Dover - Susan Theresa McKinney passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Kent General Hospital. She was the daughter of Sue McKinney and the late James R. McKinney. She was a graduate of John Dickinson High School. Susan worked as a graphic designer for several newspapers such as the Delaware State News, Cape Gazette, Coast Press and the Dover Post. She enjoyed crocheting, beading, cooking and collecting recipes. She is survived by her two daughters Heather Marie McKinney and Kimberly Marie McKinney; her mother Sue McKinney and two brothers James Stanley McKinney, Sr. and Robert Michael McKinney. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Beaver Dam Road, Angola, DE. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to either the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43214 or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford, DE.
