Susan S. Landers
(Kent), 65
FELTON - Susan S. Landers (Kent) passed away peacefully at her home in Felton, Delaware on October 5, 2021.
She was born to the late Marjorie I. Kent (Lewis) and Lloyd A. Kent, in Princeton, New Jersey. She graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1973. Susan attended Delaware Technical and Community College, obtaining a Certificate in Accounting. She served in the roles of Leasing Agent and Accounting Clerk at multiple rental properties in Delaware and North Carolina.
Susan is survived by her two children, Cherri Brady and husband, Jim, of Bear, Delaware and Chad DeBruine of Harrington, Delaware; five grandchildren, Shane, Rachal, Ethan, Jordan and James; sister, Carol Kent and friend, Joseph Zigleneski of New Jersey; brother, Robert Kent and wife, Karen, of New Jersey; nephew and niece, William and Chelsea Kent.
She was a sensitive person with a sarcastic sense of humor, which she passed along to her children. Susan was an avid fan of Cher, she also enjoyed watching reality tv, and would spend hours researching and shopping for "that special gift" for her family members. Susan was incredibly proud of her children and grandchildren, whom she loved fiercely!
At Susan's request, there will be no funeral or memorial. Instead, please donate, in her honor, to the American Lung Association or your nearby animal shelter.
