Stephen N. Gardner, 69

REHOBOTH BEACH - Stephen N. Gardner, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, in Harbor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewes. He was 69.

Mr. Gardener was born Aug. 5, 1938, in Chester, Pa., son of the late Nicholas S. and Helen (Dewey) Gardner.

Mr. Gardner was employed by Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City for 25 years, retiring as second vice president.

Following his retirement in 1996, he relocated to Rehoboth Beach and worked for McGee Plumbing in Georgetown.

Mr. Gardner was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War.

He was a graduate of Archmere Academy, Wilmington.

He is survived by his sister, Selena Gardner of Newark.

All services are private with entombment at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.

Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Enterprises, Inc., Lewes.
