DOVER - Stephanie Ann Redick, 49, of Dover, entered into eternal life on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011. Born in Wilmington, she was the daughter of Mafalda Di Emedio Craner and Ernest P. Piazza Sr. For 25 years, Stephanie provided a home daycare and pre-school program for many children, her extended family, as she cared for them during infancy and followed them throughout their young adulthood. She was a faithful and active member of Holy Cross Church in Dover where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a teacher with the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine bringing the word of Christ to the youth of the parish. She had also been a member of the Camden-Wyoming Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. Quilting was one of Stephanie's greatest passions. Along with countless hours spent in her home sewing room, she belonged to 'Helping Hands' Quilt Guild, a quilting circle, and worked part-time at 'My Favorite Quilt Shop' in Elkton, Md. More than anything, Stephanie enjoyed the time spent with her family and friends as her children and grand-children were the joy of her life. Her untimely passing will create a void in the many lives that she touched. Stephanie leaves her husband, David A. Redick of Dover; two sons and their spouses, David and April Redick of Camden, and Shaun and Emma Redick of Frederica; her two grand-children, Gage O'Rion Redick and Bella Cruz Redick. She is also survived by five brothers and sisters, Patricia Ferguson of Wilmington, Gwendolyn Habron-Feret of Dover, Ernie Piazza, Jr. of Wyoming, Mickey Piazza of New Castle, and Larry Piazza of Wilmington. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 631 S. State St., Dover, where a Visitation will be held starting at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover. Family suggests donations in her memory be made to Holy Cross Church, 631 S. State St. Dover, De 19901. Condolences and Guest Book Signings may be made via www.ambruso.com. Life's End Services are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc., Dover.
