Sherrell Wade Greene

Sherrell Wade Greene, 60 DOVER - Sherrell Wade Greene, of Dover, died on May 27, 2010, in his home. He was 60. Born Feb. 6, 1950, in Maryland and raised in Millington, the son of the late Albert and Jessie (Jones) Greene. Mr. Greene was a graduate of Garnett High School and is a member of their Alumni Association. He work for many years as a Industrial Mechanic for the Formousa Plastics Co. in Delaware City, Del. He enjoyed music and pitching horseshoes. Mr. Greene was a loving father who enjoyed spending as much time with his son as possible. In addition to his wife, Sharon Greene, he is survived by a son, DeVar W. Greene of Dover; and a sister, Theresa Chapman, also of Dover. He was predeceased by a daughter Shelly Greene. Funeral services will be noon, Wednesday June 2, 2010, in the Graves Chapel Church, Millington, Md., where friends and family may call after 10 a.m. Friends and family may also call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Fellows Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 370 W. Cypress St., Millington, Md. Interment will be in the John Wesley Cemetery, Millington, Md.
