Sarah Webb Wilhelm, 92 PINEVILLE, N.C. - Sarah Webb Wilhelm, of Pineville, N.C., formerly of Georgetown, Del., died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at The Haven Assisted Living, Pineville. She was 92. She was born on Feb. 17, 1916, in Lewes, daughter of the late Augustus Webb and Fannie Welch Webb. Mrs. Wilhelm was valedictorian of her graduating class from Lewes High School. She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Georgetown, where she had served on the Altar Committee and taught childrens Sunday School. She especially enjoyed making crafts. Mrs. Wilheim was preceded by six brothers and sisters; her husband, Ernest Wilhelm; and her daughter, Margaret Ellen Wilhelm. She is survived by two granddaughters, Mary Margaret Meyer of Smyrna, Ga., and Susan Jassan of Charlotte, N.C.; and one great-granddaughter, Margaret Grace Meyer. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in the Union Cemetery, Adams and Race streets, Georgetown. Friends may call 6-7 p.m. Thursday in the Dodd-Carey Chapel of the Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 307 North Bedford St., Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, contributions Margaret Powell Fund, for coats and school supplies for under privileged children, 3352 Grassmere, Drive, Lexington, KY 40503; or to the Alzheimer's Association, 3800 Shamrock Drive, Charlotte, NC 28215.
