CATLETT, Va. - Sandra Lee McGinnes Burr, 63, of Catlett, passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at Fauquier Hospital. She was born on Jan. 22, 1948, in Dover, to the late Harry D. and Susan McGinnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Ida V. McGinnes; and sister, Harriett Rench. Sandra is survived by her husband of 41 years, Harold Burr; her son, Joseph Burr and wife Stephanie of Warrenton; grandchildren, Dustin and Joselyn Burr, Devyn Hine and Alisha Hunter; sisters, Sissy Eckeard of Kenton, Del., E. Jane Fierstein of Huntingtown, Md.; brothers, H. David McGinnes of Crestview, Fla., and Jerry McGinnes Sr. of Dover, Del.; step-brothers, Albert Fierstein and Richard Fierstein. Also surviving are her Sandra's 17 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, at Moser Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, calling hours at 10 a.m., at the Trader Funeral Home, 12 Locust St., Dover, Del. Inurnment will follow in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
