Ryan Q. Maqbool

GEORGETOWN - Ryan Q. Maqbool was taken from this world too soon on Dec. 19, 2015. He was born on Jan. 15, 1987 in Seaford. Ryan graduated from Sussex Central High School in 2005. He was looking forward to beginning classes at Delaware Technical and Community College in January. As a child, Ryan enjoyed being involved with Boy Scouts and Little League Baseball. Ryan was an avid video gamer. He also loved to watch movies and hang out with friends. Recently, Ryan spent many hours hanging out with and helping his dad with projects around the house. He was known to bring happiness and laughter wherever he went. Ryan will truly be missed by his family and lifelong friends. Ryan was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Maqbool; his maternal grandparents, Carroll and Ruth Ann Maloney; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Maqbool. Ryan is survived by his father, Qamar Maqbool, of Georgetown; his Uncle, Tim Maloney, and wife Kelley, of Houston; his Aunt Marlene Baldwin, and husband David, of Midlothian, VA; and four cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sat., Dec. 26, 2015 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE 19947 where friends may call after 1 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to: American Heart Association PO Box 15120 Chicago, IL 60693.
