DENTON, Md. - Ruth Mayorga of Denton, Md., died Saturday, June, 16, 2007, at home. She was 87.
She was born Jan. 18, 1920 in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late William Charles and Loretta Scully Boedecker.
Mrs. Mayorga was a 1937 graduate of Richmond Hill High School in Queens, N.Y.
She was a retired bookkeeper.
She married Donald Mayorga Sr. on Sept. 14, 1940; he preceded her in death on April 4, 1994.
She moved to the Eastern Shore in 1990 and was a member of the Christ Church of Easton prior to her illness.
She is survived by her son, Donald Mayorga Jr. and wife Shirley of Denton; one daughter, Lorie Mayorga of Annapolis; seven grandchildren, Daniel Mayorga, Dane Mayorga, Douglas Mayorga, Shana Stambro, Billie Jo Poore, Suzi Newnam and Lacey Scee.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Greenmount Cemetery, Hillsboro, Md.
