Ruth Marie Williams, 80 TOWNSEND - Ruth Marie Williams, formerly of Dover, died Friday September 11, 2009, at home. She was 80. Mrs. Williams was born February 26, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Robert Gilmore and Nancy Courtney Gilmore. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Modern Maturity Center in Dover, loved traveling, animals and doll collecting. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband Roger W. Williams, Sr., her son, Roger Williams, Jr. and grandson Jeffrey Williams, Jr. She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Williams of Dover, Andy Williams and his wife Anne Marie of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Pat Isenbarger and her life partner, Ed Hance of Enon, Ohio, Virginia Brown and her husband Albert; daughter in law Kay Williams of Dover; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2009 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
