REHOBOTH BEACH - Ruth M. (Clarhaut) DuAime of Rehoboth Beach died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, in Harbor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewes. She was 81.
Mrs. DuAime was the daughter of the late Victor and Ruth (Eppihimer) Clarhaut.
She was employed as a secretary by the John P. Murdoch Co., retiring in 1975.
Mrs. DuAime attended St. Edmond's Catholic Church, Rehoboth Beach, where she was a former prefect of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality and member of the Little Angels Prayer Group. She also was a member and past president of the Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, Philadelphia and the Girl Scouts of America, Philadelphia. She was a participant in the Polar Bear Club, Rehoboth Beach since the early 1990s. She was a member of the board of directors of the Camelot Home Owners Association and a member of the Cape Henlopen Senior Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Ruth C. (DuAime) Twaddell of Newark, three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Edmond's Catholic Church, King Charles and Laurel streets, Rehoboth Beach, where friends may call one hour earlier. The Rev. Raymond Forrester will officiate.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Friday in St. Peters and Paul Cemetery, Spring Field, Pa.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 163, Salisbury, MD 21803-0163.
