Dover - Rosella Wright passed away peacefully, Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, in Kent General Hospital.
Rosella was born Oct. 11, 1926, in Bowers Beach, to the late James and Annie (Gibson) Banks. She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for several years in various places before retiring. In her free time, she enjoyed caring for her cats.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Dallas M. Wright; her children, Della Haas, Darlene Carson, and Dallas M. Wright, Jr.; and her siblings, Sarah, Harry, James, Annabelle, Margaret, Martin and Beulah.
Rosella is survived by her son, Mitchell Banks and wife, Joyce, of Little Creek; and her daughter, with whom she resided, Rosa Hughes; her sister, Nancy Otis, of Dover; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made in her memory to the First State Animal Clinic/ Kent County S.P.C.A., 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
