MILFORD - Rose Marie Bowler of Dover, Delaware, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2025. Rose was born on June 7, 1940, in Dover, Delaware, to the late James and Margaret (Tarburton) Chambers. Rose graduated from Felton High School in 1958 and married Allan K. Bowler on April 1, 1961.
Throughout her life, Rose held many jobs, but her true passions were her family, friends, beloved pets, and the wildlife she cared for. She had a tremendous heart for those in need, as well as all of God's creatures. Rose spent many hours reading, gardening, taking long walks, and enjoying the beauty of nature.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Allan K. Bowler, and her siblings, Jimmy Chambers, Peggy Tritinger, and Paul Chambers.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Rose M. Bowler II (Daniel Gardner), Dawn M. Bowler, Tina Bowler, and her grandchildren: George England (Taylor, children: Easton, and Ivy), Dennis Gardner, A. Austin Gardner-Bowler, Breanna Vega-Bowler, Selena Vega-Bowler (daughter, Azari), L. Noah Gardner-Bowler and her beloved cousin Kathrine (Kitty) Horowitz.
Services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2025, in the Chapel at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, Milford, DE. The interment to follow at Barratt's Chapel. Friends are welcome to join the family at a reception one hour before the services.
