HARTLY - Roscoe Williams Jr. of Hartly died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was 68.
Mr. Williams was born Aug. 19, 1938, in Sylvania, Ga., son of Emily (Mock) Williams of Orlando, Fla., and the late Roscoe Williams Sr.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Ralph Cahall and Son, Smyrna, and also owned and operated Williams Backhoe Service.
Mr. Williams was an avid fisherman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Dorothy (McGinley) Williams; a son, Daniel Williams of Orlando; two daughters, Theresa Silves and Tammy Coblentz, both of Hartly; two brothers, Jack Williams of Sorrento, Fla., and Dale Williams of Orlando; three sisters, Margaret Ann Kimbro of Tavares, Fla., Mary Spikes of Orlando, and Gail Willis of Leesburg, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon Saturday in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be private.
