Ronald 'Leon' Wise, 61
MILLSBORO - Ronald "Leon" Wise, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2009, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 61. Leon was a life long resident of Millsboro and attended the Dagsboro Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Godwin Wise; four sisters; and five brothers. He is survived by his children, Ronald Leon Snead and his companion Dorcia Patterson of Dover, Patrina L. Snead of Dover, and Ylester Johnson and companion Duane Henry of Dover; three brothers, Junior Lee Wise and his wife Martha of Millsboro, Vincent Wise and his wife Elva of Millsboro, and Wayne Wise of Paterson, N.J.; two sisters, Betty Wise of Millsboro, and Rev. Eloise Scales and her husband Maynard of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a special, caring friend, Shirley Pettyjohn; and many friends, extended family, nieces, nephews and relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Dickerson Chapel AME Church, Rt 113, Millsboro, where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be in St. John's 2nd Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Joy near Millsboro, where Rev. Vera Worthy will officiate. Arrangements by Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro.
