FARMINGTON - Ronald "Dale" Pleasanton, of Farmington, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Beebe Hospital, Lewes. He was 55. Dale was born Oct. 17, 1956, in Delaware, to the late Leroy Pleasanton and Barbara Cox. He worked with his father in the family owned residential painting company called C & L Painting. Dale enjoyed fishing, hanging out with his best friend Lee, collecting matchbox cars and loved music, especially 70's rock. Dale is survived by his children, Jehni Dale Pleasanton of Farmington, Beth and Michael Harley of Farmington, Brandy Slater of Harrington, Jessie and Rob Brown of Greenwood; siblings, Tammy and Eric Cole, Michelle LaGage, Donna Orsinger, Cindy Pleasanton, Rae Ann Kane, and Leona Yeakel; five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb, 9, 2012, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to American Parkinson Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
