Ronald E. Vautard

Ret. USAF BENSALEM, Pa. - Ronald E. Vautard, Ret. USAF, of Bensalem, died peacefully, with his family praying by his side on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Chandler Hall Hospice. He was 69. He was the beloved husband of 25 years to Margaret A. Vennell Vautard. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., he was the son of the late Vernon J. and Eugenia Truschel Vautard. Ron was a graduate of Norwin High School, class of 1960. After school Ron joined the United State Air Force and made it his passion, he served proudly and retired as Chief Master Sergeant, USAF. Ron's professional career, as an Insurance Adjuster spanned many years. He had offices in Magnolia, Del., and Bensalem. He was a faithful member of New Life Christian Church, a life member of the Dover Air Force Museum and a life member of the Magnolia Fire Department, Magnolia. He was also a associate member of the Grace Baptist Church of Monroeville, Pa. In addition to his beloved wife, Ron is survived by his devoted children, Keith E. Vautard and his wife Karen of Magnolia, Del., Scott D. Vautard and his wife Nicole of Magnolia, Del., Richard Vautard of Bensalem; his brother, Gary Vautard and his wife Linda of N. Huntingdon, Pa.; dear grandfather of Jessica, Heather, Logan and Colton; and great-grandfather of Jayla. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday evening March 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until his Funeral Service 11 a.m. at New Life Christian Church, 4 Freedom Dr., Newtown, with Rev. Dr. Norman J. Leve, officiating. Military Honors will follow the services. Interment will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in St. James Cemetery, Exchange, Pa. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Memorial Fund of the New Life Christian Church at the above address.
