MILFORD – Roland R. Stone passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Bayhealth/Milford Memorial Hospital.
Roland worked as a sales associate with Circuit City in Salisbury, Md. Prior to moving to Delaware he worked as a movie cast member in California and was cast as an elf in the movie The Night They Saved Christmas. Roland enjoyed reading, and watching movies and sports, especially wrestling, football, golf and baseball.
In addition to his parents, Richard and Elsie (Hawkins) Stone, Roland was preceded in death by a brother, Dave.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Dawn Stone. As well as, three children, Michelle Kiewel, Christopher Stone, and Shauna Stone; four grandchildren, Erica Kiewel, Daniel Kiewel, Ethan and Aidan Stone; three sisters, Kay Dougherty, Ruth Kohlmetz, and Barb Partridge; and three brothers, James Stone, Richard Stone and Dan Stone.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at the Memorial Fire Company, 359 Bay Avenue, Milford, Delaware 19963.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help defray funeral expenses.
