Roland Church Jr., 73

MILTON - Roland Church Jr., of Milton, passed away at his home on Monday, Feb. 4, 2008. He was 73.

He was born in Franktown, Va., to the late Roland and Sallie (Graves).

He is survived by a son, Larry E. Church and his wife Karen; three daughters, Ernestine Church, Teresa Butcher and Sharon Collins and her husband Craig; two sisters, Sallie Church and Dorothea Brickhouse; sisters-in-law, Ellen Church, Magdaline Cox, Shirley Paynter and her husband Victor, and Martha Gray and her husband Bartola; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be noon Saturday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck Road, where friends may call after 10 a.m.

Burial will be private.
