Robin L. Hicks, 49 FELTON - Robin L. Hicks, of Felton, died Sunday, July 6, 2008, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. He was 49. He was born in Harrington to Dorsey S. Hicks and Pauline E. Webb. Mr. Hicks worked as an installer for the Hickman Overhead Door Co. for the past 25 years. He was a hard worker and enjoyed his job. In his spare time, he enjoyed baking, especially pineapple upside down cakes which he gave to his mother. Mr. Hicks was an outgoing, energetic person who never met a stranger, and would help anybody who was in need. He was always thinking of others, and loved his family dearly, especially his daughter who was the apple of his eye. He will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Eugene Hicks and Roger Hicks. Mr. Hicks is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Tracey A. Hicks of Felton; a daughter, Lyn Hicks of Felton; stepfather, Arlee Webb; brothers, Danny and Johnnie Hicks; sisters, Helena Ellingsworth, Lola Hicks, Brenda Wix, and Carol Robinson; mother and father-in-law, Ed and Paige Kemp of Harrington; grandmother, Jeanette Quillen of Greenwood; and sister-in-law, Dawn Maloney of Harrington. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Thursday in Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South Dupont Hwy., Harrington, where friends may call two hours prior. Interment will take place privately at a later date in Hollywood Cemetery. The family requests that no flowers be sent for service, make donations to charity of choice.
