Robert William Burton, 65

MARYDEL, Md. - Robert William Burton, of Marydel, died Monday, April 6, 2009, at home. He was 65. He was born May 4, 1943, in Annapolis, to the late William Earl and Agnes Elizabeth Johnson Burton. Mr. Burton loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle anywhere and everywhere. He enjoyed the warm weather, especially Florida. He liked spending time outdoors, whether he was boating, deer hunting, or spending time in the woods. He liked to make people laugh and feel good about themselves. He would help anyone if he could. Robert loved life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Diane Burton; and one brother, William Burton Jr. He is survived by his girlfriend, Janice Hawkins of Marydel; three sons, Phillip Snyder and Robert Snyder, both of Orlando, Fla., and Shannon Rider of Palm Bay, Fla.; one brother, Guy Burton of Glen Burnie; three granddaughters, Angel Snyder, Caroline Snyder, and Alexandria Kimbrough, all of Florida; and friend, Paul Snyder of Orlando. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 10, in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, where a visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie. Condolences may be sent to www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com.
