DOVER - Robert Stanley Lech of Dover formerly of Quakake, Rush Township, Pa., died Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, in his home. He was 64.
He was born in Barnesville, Pa., son of Joyce L. Fegley Lech of Quakake, Pa., and the late Stanley Lech.
Mr. Lech graduated from Mahanoy Area High School, Mahanoy City, Pa., in 1961, and received an associate's degree from Delaware Technical & Community College.
He retired from Kraft Foods, Dover, after 38 years of service.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Amber of Dover and Marie of Reading, Pa.; a son, Brian of Elizabethtown, Pa.; two sisters, Eileen of Quakake, Pa., and Gwen of Philadelphia; and a friend, Helen Young of Harrington.
Services will be 11 a.m. today in Zizelmann-Roche Funeral Home, 500 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, Pa., where friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown, Pa.
A memorial service will be held in Delaware at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Heart Association, Berks/Schuylkill Chapter, 25 Stevens Ave., Building A, Suite 10, West Lawn, PA 19609; or to the Little Schuylkill Conservation Club, c/o Sovereign Bank, 32 Mahanoy Ave., Tamaqua, PA 18252.
Local arrangements are by Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Smyrna.
