SEAFORD - Robert Lee Snook, of Seaford, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington. He was born on May 9, 1925 in Washington D.C. to the late, Robert Alma and Ethel Deanell Snook. Mr. Snook work in the computer department with the US Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. for over 40 years. He was in the Navy during WW II. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Order and was a Worthy Grand Patron in the State of Maryland, Order of the Eastern Star, in 1996-1997. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Billie Jean Blankenship Snook; he also has two children; and six grand children. Friends may call on Monday evening, November 7, 2011, at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 Shipley Street, Seaford, Delaware 19973, from 5 to 7 p.m. His celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donation be given to, Grand Chapter of Maryland, Order of Eastern Star 304 International Circle, Cockeysville, Maryland 21030-1300.
