DOVER - Robert J. "Bob" Marcolongo, 78, of Dover, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 43 happy years, Barbara Marcolongo; their children, Suzanne Metz and Danielle VanderWerf; his children, Donna Symons, Vicki Wentzel, Denise Maloney and Robbie Marcolongo; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be 1 p.m., Monday, Dec. 13, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St, Dover, where friends may visit one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mr. Marcolongo's family would like to thank Dr. Sandeep Mann and the nurses at Kent General, especially in the ICU and IMC units, for their exceptional and compassionate care.
