Robert Chaffinch

SEAFORD - Robert "Bobby" Chaffinch of passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.
Bobby was a member of Bricklayers Local #1 out of Philadelphia, he worked on many brick buildings in Seaford including The Ross Mansion, Central Elementary School and Gateway Park. He was a member of the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, the VFW, the Moose Lodge, the American Legion, and Hiram Lodge #21. He played in the First Delaware Blue-Gold All Star football game. He enjoyed duck carving and surf fishing in Fenwick Island and his many breakfasts at Pizza King.
He was the son of the late James and Lana Chaffinch. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Chaffinch; and a brother, Roland Chaffinch.
He is survived by a son, Blake Chaffinch (Robin); a daughter, Dina Monaco (Vincent); 7 grandchildren, Beau Chaffinch, Dustin Chaffinch, Morgan "T J' Abbott, Angela Passwaters, Tony Monaco, Alyssa Collins and Taylor Collins; 4 great-grandchildren, Brady Chaffinch, Karson Abbott, Jase Passwaters and Vivian Passwaters; 2 brother, Ronald Chaffinch (Maureen) and Richard "Doc" Chaffinch (Ann); and his pride and joy, the family dog, Rocco.
Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 18th at 2 p.m. at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St, Seaford, where friends may call from 1 to 2. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, P O Box 87, Seaford, DE 19973.
