Robert A. 'Tony' Blackard, 40
DAGSBORO - Robert A. "Tony" Blackard, of Dagsboro, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. He was 40.
Tony enjoyed attending church and was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ocean City, Md. He also enjoyed being around people and loved dining out with friends and family.
He is survived by his parents, John and Bobbi Garufi; three brothers, Gary Blackard, Clifton Blackard and Steven Blackard; two sisters, Sherry Branson and Nikki Ford; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services on Thatcher Street in Frankford, where friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening.
Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro.
