FELTON - Rebecca A. Jacobson left her earthly body on May 4, 2018. She had a tough fought battle with cancer and passed away surrounded by family.
Mrs. Jacobson (Becky) had an avid love of animals at a very young age. Raised in Bellefonte by parents David and Elizabeth Freeman (both deceased), this passion helped define her life, providing love and support to people and animals alike. Whether two or four leggged, many considered her "mom". She loved her children, grandchildren and animals unconditionally and put their needs before her own.
Through her younger years she was involved with farming and livestock. She worked on several farms, including her own, as well as Carroll's Auction on Wednesday nights. She loved her horses, and horseback riding. She also enjoyed a good book or a night out at the slots. Her love and support will be greatly missed!!!
She is survived by her children, Jodine M. Wyatt and husband Edward of Felton, William B. Jacobson and wife Brooke of Cocoa, Fla., Travis A. Jacobson and wife Farha of Brooklyn Park, Md., Melissa A. Daniels and husband Jason of Felton; and her sister, Virginia Freeman Gallagher of Dover. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Robert A. Jacobson; and eldest son, David A. Emery.
At her request a Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date.
