Priscilla McConnell

DOVER - Priscilla McConnell, of Dover, passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010. She was 60. Mrs. McConnell was born Nov. 15, 1949, in Washington, D.C., to the late Richard H. Sharpe and Joanne Morrison Sharpe. She worked as a medical assistant at Dedicated to Women in the Eden Hill Medical Center, Dover. Mrs. McConnell was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge. She loved the holidays, enjoyed scrapbooking, doing ceramics and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded by her husband of 24 years, Wm. Mason McConnell, III in 2000; and her daughter, Charlene McConnell in 1976. She is survived by her daughters, Kim Cohee and her husband Kevin of Harrington, Shannon McConnell of Felton, Amanda McConnell and her fiancé Thomas Russum of Camden; brothers, John Sharpe of Camden, Rick Sharpe of Willow Grove; sister, Debbie Brown of Harrington; grandchildren, Justin, Kevin, Zachary, Taylor and Dylan McConnell, Trinity and Haley Smith and Mason McConnell Russum; and great-grandson, Brian McConnell. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
