BRIDGEVILLE - Phyllis Ann Hendrix, of Bridgeville, died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford. She was 50. Phyllis was born Dec. 5, 1961, in Lincoln to the late Hanley D. Reed and Annabelle Bacon Appenzeller. Phyllis was a great mother, who loved her grandchildren. She was a strong woman, who had a big heart , and was a happy person even going through her struggles. She liked playing bingo. She was survived by her husband, Michael; a son, Jesse Hendrix of Harrington; a daughter, Tina Scarbrough of Millsboro; two grandchildren, Anthony Scarbrough and Veronica Hendrix; and five brothers, Dale, Larry, Robert, Gary, and Michael Reed. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2012, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market Street, Greenwood. Friends may call one hour before funeral. Burial will be private.
