Pearl Louise Bell

HARTLY - Pearl Louise Bell, 82, of Hartly, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011, at her home with family. She was born on July 4, 1928, in Dover, to the late John and Florence Dill Poore. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dover and Faith Life Ministries. Pearl worked at Playtex for 25 years and worked at Capital Cleaners, and Libby's. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and reading. She was a very strong person and worked hard all of her life from age 14. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter M. Bell Sr.; her son, Walter M. Bell Jr.; and her daughter, Shirley A. Hazen. She is survived by daughter, Marcia E. Bell of Hartly; daughter and her husband, Diane L. and William Evans of Magnolia; brother, David E. Poore of Harrington; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Remembrance Services will be 1 p.m., today, March 15, 2011, at Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.delmarvaobits.com or traderfh@aol.com.
