DOVER - Paul Thomas Moore of Dover, and Heathrow Florida, passed away at Milford Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife, Aiko Moore (Shimizu). He is survived by his three children, Paul Moore, Jr. (Mariam), Frank Moore and Lillian Moore Dowd (Steven); and five grandchildren. Paul began his life in Philadelphia and Wilmington. Over time he lived in New Jersey, Alaska, Florida and Japan. Paul was always on the go. He served in the Air Force when he met his wife Aiko in Japan. Paul was proud to have served in the military and retired from the Air Force after serving over 20 years. He was able to start his military career when he was 15 years old, by telling the military be was older than he was. He served in the Korean and Vietnam wars. Paul was the entrepreneurial spirit for the family and started several successful family businesses still in operation today. He will be remembered for his love of life and dedication to his family. During his retirement he found great joy tinkering with electronics and attending the local flea markets. The Memorial service will be private. In lieu of flowers, a donation to an animal shelter/charity of your choice would be appreciated. On line condolences may be sent to www.pippinfuneralhome.com
