MIDDLETOWN - Patrick M. Sweeney Sr., 75, of Middletown, passed away Oct. 18, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Edna (McQuillan) Sweeney; three children, Joanne O'Neill, Patrick M. Sweeney Jr., and John Sweeney; a sister, Miriam Sullivan; and 13 grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at noon, Monday, Oct. 24, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 371 E. Main Street, Middletown, where friends may visit with his family one hour prior. Interment will be held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear, at a later date.
