MAGNOLIA - Nyleen (Callaway) Lonski passed away suddenly, Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Kent General Hospital.
Nyleen was born November 16, 1947 in Milford, Delaware to Lillian (Short) Callaway and the Late, Nyle Callaway. Along with her late husband, Ben, Nyleen was an over the road truck driver. Together they spent many years adventuring across the Country. She had also spent several years serving as an activities director at various skilled nursing facilities in the area. In her free time, Nyleen enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, and drinking tea; but her favorite pastime was collecting and displaying her Christmas Town and Ornaments which she kept up throughout the whole year.
Nyleen was preceded in death by her father, Nyle Callaway; her husband, Ben Lonski; and her granddaughter, Rebecca Lonski.
Nyleen is survived by her three sons, Benjamin A. Lonski, III & wife, Debbie, of Magnolia, Donald Matthew Lonski & wife, Melissa, of Felton and Christopher Adam Lonski, with whom she resided; her mother, Lillian (Short) Callaway, of Harrington; her siblings, Denise Argo & Debbie Porter, both of Milford, Nyle, Jimmy, and John Callaway, all of Harrington, Harry Callaway, of Florida, Donald Argo, of Harrington and Ronald Argo, of Felton; her grandchildren, Troy Lonski, Patrick Lonski, Sarah Lonski, Austin Lonski, Aubrey Lonski, Gavin Nutto, and Coady Glanden; her great-grandchildren, Khloe Clendaniel, Adam "Tater" Clendaniel, Selena Lonski, Linkin Lonski, and Alexander Coppick; and her best friend, Linda Goodnight Halverson, of Dover.
A Celebration of her Life will be held 3 p.m., Wednesday, August 25, 2021, in the Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Del.; where family and friends may gather from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
