Nicholas Eugene Knott, 86
DENTON, Md. - Nicholas Eugene Knott of Denton died Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, in Memorial Hospital at Easton. He was 86.
Mr. Knott was born in Hillsboro, son of the late Nicholas Eugene and Grace Lillian (Evans) Knott.
He was district manager in the Denton area for Choptank Electric Co. for 40 years.
Mr. Knott was a lifetime member of Temple Lodge 128, A.F. & A.M., Denton, and a lifetime member of the Easton Elks Lodge 1622.
He is survived by his wife, Marian Elizabeth "Betty" (Potts) Knott of Denton; and two daughters, Marian K. Mullinix of Secretary, and Sarah J. Knott of Easton; and his good friend, Bill Ringgold of Greensboro.
Graveside services, including a Masonic memorial service, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Denton Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Caroline Humane Society, 407 W. Bell St., Ridgely, MD 21660; or to the Queen Anne-Hillsboro Fire Co., PO Box 226, Queen Anne, MD 21657.
