MILLSBORO — Nanticoke Indian Heritage Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 6 at the Nanticoke Indian Museum.
At noon the museum coordinator Sterling “Earth Keeper” Street will be honored. The guest speaker is Chief Urie Ridgeway of the Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape New Jersey Tribal Nation. Storytelling will be presented by Ragghi Rain and performances by the Nanticoke Indian Dance Troupe, director Adrienne Harmon.
Activities include free admission to the museum, Native American foods, arts and crafts for sale, Native American dancing and singing, face painting, and museum tours.
