DOVER - Nancy Carpenter of Dover passed away Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2014 at Pinnacle Nursing Home, Smyrna. She was 75. Mrs. Carpenter was born Sept. 1, 1939 in Worton, Maryland to the late George Washington States and Sally Morris States. She is survived by her sons, Jay States of Sunbury, Pa, and Kevin States and his wife Lisa of Dover; three granddaughters, four great granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.
