Milligan, 86 SEAFORD - Myrtle Mae Edgar Milligan passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at her home in Seaford. She was born Oct. 8, 1925, in Cambridge, Md., the daughter of the late Julian Edgar, Sr. and Mabel Augustus Paul Edgar. Mrs. Milligan was a homemaker. She was a past member of the Moose Lodge in Cambridge. Her husband, Melvin Milligan, Sr., preceded her in death on Oct. 16, 2001. She was also preceded in death by a son, Melvin Milligan, Jr.; two brothers Juilian Edgar and Frank Lewis; and a great-grandson, Grayson Covey. She is survived by a daughter, Ruth Covey of Hurlock, Md.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grand-children; seven siblings, Troy Lewis of Eldorado, Md., Marie Braswell of Secretary, Md., Edith Harding of Cambridge, Doris Edgar of Bethany Beach, Del., Betty Deitweiler of Denton, Md., Frances Lewis of Greensboro, N.C. and Gloria Lewis of Cambridge. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Michael A. Hopkins officiating. Interment will follow at Unity-Washington Cemetery in Hurlock. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to VITAS (Hospice), 100 Commerce Dr., Suite 302, Newark, DE 19713.
