MILFORD - Myron E. Morgan passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Bayhealth at Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford. He was born Feb. 5, 1945 in Milford. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked in Research and Materials for DE DOT in Dover. He was Past Exalted Leader and Past District Deputy of Milford Elks Lodge and in charge of Youth Programs and a member of the Moose Lodge in Milford and a member of the American Legion. He was an avid hunter and bass fisherman with his brother, Vaughn. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Morgan. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sandy (Siewert) Morgan; mother, Kathleen Morgan Bullock; children, Lori Morgan and fiance' Bill Welker and Jodi Potter and husband, Stuart; 4 grandchildren, Vinnie, Alyse, Emily and Zach; brother, Vaughn Morgan and wife Dale; sister, Beverly Auckland and husband Robert; sister-in-law, Diane Hempler and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, Del., where friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Elks Lodge Youth Program, 18951 Elks Lodge Road, Milford, Del. 19963
